Our Preschool program is designed to encourage children to actively explore their world with confidence and autonomy. We recognize that family/parents are the first teachers of their children therefore we view our programs as an extension of our students’ homelife. We challenge the children with developmentally appropriate activities in the different learning centers and promote self-help skills such as self-feeding/dressing, caring for toys and potty training.
Outside of learning pre-literary and pre-math skills, our students get to explore their environment and improve physical coordination. Activities involving climbing, running, and engaging in active play enables children to develop fine and large motor skills.
Our management team and staff value the uniqueness of each young child and are committed to providing a safe, nurturing, and positive environment Smallville Learning Center focuses on a balanced set of activities appropriate for young children while the curriculum gives equal regard to all areas of development: cognitive, social, emotional/aesthetic, and physical.
